Big news IMAT 2025 registration is officially going to start from 26th August 2025. If you’re planning to study medicine in Italy, this is your moment.
I know a lot of you have been DM-ing me asking “Sami, when can we finally register?” I made the short video telliing you when it will open, and I had clearly said last week of August or Start of September (see my prediction is always right:) spam W sami)
Let’s go through dates and deadline, seats, centers, syllabus, how to register, what you need to prepare, and how to make the most of the time left before exam day.

IMAT 2025 Registration Dates

The registration window will open on 26th August 2025 and will close on 9th September 2025 15:00 CET. and now the question is how and where to register? Hold on “got everything step by step for you”.

How to Register for IMAT 2025

You will be doing IMAT registration on universitaly.it (eu and non eu both). I’ve already made a comprehensive step by step video from previous year screen recording how you will be booking your seat, payment each and every step so I’ll highly encourage watch it to understand everything clearly so you don’t make any mistake during your registration process.

IMAT 2025 Syllabus

As I always told you in every video that you don’t change syllabus so this year same thing happend they didn’t change anything in the syllabus at all. Exactly same syllabus. Download and understand syllabus from IMAT 2025 Syllabus

IMAT 2025 Test Centers Countries

You can find the official list of IMAT 2025 test centre countries in the PDF published by MUR [link to PDF]. Right now, the list only shows countries, the exact cities and start times haven’t been confirmed yet.
Once that info is officially released, I’ll update this article *

From what I can see, the test centre countries are the same as last year. That means it’s very likely the cities and timings will also be similar but remember, this is not officially confirmed. But evey year it was same so I don’t think they will change anything.

IMAT 2025 Exam

You will be writing IMAT exam on 17th September 2025.

When Will IMAT 2025 Results Come Out?

Alright once you’re done with IMAT exam now there will be results and ranking, below is the timeline:

• 📅 25 September 2025: Anonymous Ranking
  On this day, MUR will publish a big list of all IMAT scores, but without any names.
  You’ll be able to see every candidate’s score, but there’s no way to know which one is yours or anyone else’s (but if you remember your barcode number from exam you can check it)
  This is basically to give everyone an idea of the score distribution before names come into play.
• 📅 06 October 2025: Your Detailed Results
  This is when you log in to your Universitaly account and see:
  • Your exact score
  • Your marked answer sheet
  • Your test paper
  • Your personal candidate data sheet
• 📅 13 October 2025: National Ranking with Names
  The full ranking will be published by indiviual university (that is going to be the most tense phase but don’t worry I’ll make a prediction video from anonymous ranking as I did in previous year and it was 97% exactly right)
  Here’s where you find out if you’re:
  • Assigned: you’ve got a place at your highest available choice
  • Booked: you have a seat at a lower choice but can still move up as spots open (this is the “scrolling” process).
• What if Two People Have the Same Score?
  • If there’s a tie, here’s how they decide who ranks higher (in order):
    • Higher scores in this order: biology → chemistry → physics → mathematics → logical reasoning → problem solving → reading skills → general knowledge.
    • Language certificate
    • Disability certificate
    • Younger candidate gets priority
