Cyclohexene, C6H10, can be represented as:
Use this information to calculate the relative molecular mass of the hydrocarbon shown below:

Answer:

In the hydrocarbon shown, there are 10 carbon atoms and 18 hydrogen atoms. We cannot double count the corners in the middle (since there is an overlap).

(12 x 10) + (18 x 1) = 138
